In the fifth season of this quirky dramedy, New York native Joel Fleischman (Rob Morrow) remains a fish out of water in the remote outpost of Cicely, Alaska -- but give him some time. In the season opener, Joel finds himself in a cosmic game of hide-and-seek. As the action continues, 31-year-old Maggie (Janine Turner) is asked to be homecoming queen; the town's gay couple gets hitched; and Joel finally acknowledges his strong ties to Cicely.
