In this Spanish-language dramedy, two Mexican-Jewish girls, Oshinika and Refke (Claudette Maille and Angelica Aragon), defy tradition and create a world of difficulties for themselves when they pursue love affairs (in the early 1960s) that test strict societal boundaries -- to say nothing of their own families' expectations. But has true love ever traveled an easy course?
