Lee (Lianne X. Hu) is a young woman sent to Los Angeles by her family to work at a Chinatown restaurant so she can send money home for her sick grandmother. But Lee endures a life of virtual slavery at the hands of her employer, and when a restaurant patron (Steven Dunning, who wrote, produced and directed the movie) decides to save her, but he makes things even worse. Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the New York Independent Film Fest.
