Having been blinded in an accident a year earlier, Carly (Helen Slater) is still adjusting to life without her sense of sight. When her boyfriend, Eric (Andrew McCarthy), goes out of town, two thieves target Carly's loft apartment and hold her prisoner in her own home. In the midst of this nightmare, Carly must use all her senses to hold her own against the malicious intruders, who aim to extract from her the combination to her uncle's safe.
