In the small Basque town of Obaba, university student Lourdes (Bárbara Lennie) films a documentary for an assignment. As she records the locals' stories, she comes to understand not only the eccentric villagers and the mysteries of Obaba, but also more of herself. Pillar López de Ayala and Juan Diego Botto also star in this engaging drama directed by Montxo Armendáriz and based on a collection of short stories by Bernardo Atxaga.
