Jenna Elfman is Ellena Roberts, a woman who's accused of a crime and presents her side to her lawyer, Sara Miller (Kate Burton). Prosecutors say Roberts has an eerie obsession with her ex-lover, surgeon David Stillman (Sam Robards), and they're prepared to present her as a woman scorned. But Miller suspects there's more to the story than meets the eye. That is, until she actually meets Stillman, who attempts to sway her loyalties. Can she resist?
