Bart Hughes (Peter Weller), a powerful businessman, can handle anything. Well, almost anything. When his wife and son embark on a trip, leaving Bart alone in their Manhattan brownstone, his peace and quiet is wrecked by a rodent that seems to be everywhere all at once. Determined to rid himself of this rat's presence, Bart grows obsessed with the idea of catching and disposing of it -- an endeavor that soon takes over his life.
