Oil City Confidential

  (2009)
Julien Temple, who's made a career of documenting the rock era, helms this look at Dr. Feelgood, a band in the vanguard of 1970s British rock. Surviving members of the group and other acts discuss Dr. Feelgood's place in music history. Interviews and vintage film clips feature punk pioneer Richard Hell, the Clash's Joe Strummer, impresario Jools Holland, and Feelgood's own Wilko Johnson and John Sparks, who discuss the band's small-town origins.
