In this sequel to the 1970 tearjerker Love Story, Ryan O'Neal reprises his role as Oliver Barrett IV, who's still distraught over the death of his beautiful young wife, Jenny, when he meets divorced heiress Marcie Bonwit (Candice Bergen). The spirited Marcie coaxes Oliver out of his cocoon of grief, and they begin a tentative romance. But will his haunting memories of Jenny spell doom for the relationship?
