Alberto is a disc jockey who's about to lose his job at a classic rock station in Mexico. As he pores over the memories of his hippie years during the 1960s and '70s, he fantasizes about his old flame Laura and the ideals they shared. One day, while spinning old rock favorites, Alberto goes on the air and pleads with Laura to call him so they can give their love another shot.
