While learning the ropes as a new border patrol officer, Chuck (Jeff Delger) falls for Engracia (Victoria Abril), a seductive Mexican prostitute. But when Chuck marries Engracia and tries to smuggle her into the United States, a jealous colleague (Scott Wilson) vows to destroy their happiness. Written and directed by José Luis Borau, this tale of passion and politics co-stars David Carradine as an agent turned smuggler.
