The relationship of Veronica and Rolland seems doomed from the start, as they come from two powerful but different territories. Veronica's father is the Prince of Lunaria and has halted exporting water to the kingdom of the Shadowlands, of which Rolland is heir. Without water, the Shadowlands will perish, bringing about a war between the two regions. With a battle looming ahead, will the two lovers be able to sustain their union?
