Ex-con Johnnie Cooper (Matthew Modine, who also directed and wrote the script) wants to go straight after his prison stint, so he's happy to accept the job his parole officer (David Keith) finds for him at an auto-body shop. But temptation lurks at Johnnie's workplace, a spot frequented by two-bit criminals and his shady brother (Kevin J. O'Connor). Is it any wonder Johnnie gets roped into joining his sibling for a final heist down Mexico way?
