One Night of Love

Mary Barrett (Grace Moore) is a talented young opera singer who catches the eye of Guilio Monteverdi (Tullio Carminati), a musical legend. Monteverdi becomes her mentor, and the two fall in love during the long hours of rehearsal. However, jealousy makes it impossible for them to admit their true feelings. The film's soundtrack includes several memorable operatic pieces and won the Academy Award for Best Score.
