When his friend Svedberg (Christer Fant) turns up dead from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound, police inspector Kurt Wallander (Rolf Lassgård) investigates the connection between his pal's demise and the mysterious slaying of three teenagers. As he digs into Svedberg's past, Wallander discovers that the truth is more surprising -- and dangerous -- than he expected. Birger Larsen directs this adaptation of Henning Mankell's novel.
