Drawing together a disparate group of Cairo denizens, a championship soccer match underscores the double standards and compromises required to navigate the gender, class and religious divisions of modern Egypt. The characters in this ensemble drama include a successful but hard-drinking talk-show host (Khaled Abol Naga), a no-talent pop star (Zeina), a lawyer with dubious ethics (Kamel Ashraf) and a drug-addled parking lot manager (Lotfi Labieb).
