Alcoholic ex-baseball player Charley Benetto (Michael Imperioli) returns to his hometown to commit suicide but has a change of heart after he's granted one day with the spirit of his dead mother (Ellen Burstyn) -- who shows him a path to redemption. Based on Mitch Albom's best seller and presented by television icon Oprah Winfrey, this uplifting made-for-TV drama also stars Imperioli's son Vadim as the young Charley.
