During World War II, a former pilot turned American agent (Eddie Albert) faces a weighty moral dilemma when he parachutes into occupied France to eliminate a Parisian lawyer suspected of colluding with the Nazis. In researching his target, the spy develops some serious doubts about the so-called traitor's guilt. Anthony Asquith directs this tense drama, featuring famed American-born stage actress Irene Worth in a BAFTA Award-winning performance.
