Director Takao Okawara's action fantasy feature, inspired by an old Japanese legend, follows the exploits of a young prince, Yamato, who's gifted with incredible powers that he's unfortunately finding difficult to harness. His mission is to tame an eight-headed beast that's threatening the safety of the planet, but before he can accomplish this mean feat, he must first learn how to put his skills to good use without creating more havoc.
