Wealthy coed Maya (Sonia Agarwal) falls for the charming but poor Cheenu (Srikanth), who initially rebuffs the arrogant girl. When Maya's father gets sick, they visit her hometown together, where she reveals a softer side that finally wins him over. Unfortunately, Maya's brothers don't think Cheenu is good enough for her, leaving the young man to wonder whether he should just give up on their budding relationship.
