Acclaimed stage and screen actor William Marshall gives a commanding performance in this top-rate production, directed by Franklin Melton, as the eponymous tragic hero undone by suspicion, jealousy and obsession. Staged in the tradition of the original Globe Theatre performances, the production also features stellar turns by Jenny Agutter as Desdemona and Ron Moody (of 1968's Oliver!) as the Moor's devious lieutenant, Iago.
