Jenny (Jennifer Beals) is a parole officer who falls in love with an ex-con, putting both of their lives in jeopardy. Trapped in a dangerous game of seduction, Jenny's forced to walk the fine line between desire and her duty to the badge she wears. Despite her instincts, Jenny gets too close to the ex-con, who has an old score to settle on the outside. With the police in hot pursuit, the two must stay together to stay alive -- and stay in love.
