Out of the Blue

Dennis Hopper stars as alcoholic Don Barnes, who -- after serving five years in jail for a drunk-driving accident -- returns home to find his wife (Sharon Farrell) hooked on smack and his alienated teenage daughter, Cebe (Linda Manz), leading a rootless life. Though Cebe dreams of mending her dysfunctional family, her hopes may be dashed when her father slips back into old habits in this disquieting drama (which Hopper also directs).
