The third in a four-part animated series of the further Ozian adventures of Kansas farm girl Dorothy Gale and her cohorts finds Dorothy on a mission to help the royal family of Ev. After she reunites with her friends, they meet Ozma, the princess of Oz, and travel to the underground caverns of Gnomeland, where they narrowly escape the evil magic of the gnome king and manage to rescue the Prince of Ev.
