While Kaya (Udita Goswami) is waiting to join the monastery, an old lama sends her to find his teacher, who's been reborn as a boy named Llahmo (Madan Bhiku). After finding him, the two journey home, but along the way Llahmo sees a murder, and the authorities detain him. He manages to escape, and soon the two begin to fall in love. When Kaya's father disapproves of the relationship, she must choose between her true love and her father's wishes.
