Cantankerous truck driver Durairaj (Sarath Kumar) loses his only friend, Jayaram, in a fatal accident. To carry out his departed companion's last wish, Durairaj travels to Jayaram's hometown to help build his family a home. During his stay, he must gain the trust and respect of the villagers as he aids them in the fight against a corrupt landlord who's cheating the townspeople out of their properties.
