After a smuggler kills his beloved sister, a mentally impaired man (Rajnikanth) vows to seek justice and joins a martial arts school to become a master fighter. Taking on a new identity -- Paayum Puli, or "Leaping Tiger" -- he sets off on his journey of vengeance, but a beautiful woman (Radha) soon puts a hitch in his plans. Manorama, Silk Smitha and Jaishankar also star in this action-packed Tamil tale.
