Traditional Indian folklore comes alive in this charming film based on a story by Statwart Vijaydan Detha. When her new husband abandons her on the night of their wedding, a bride is romanced instead by a ghost, who takes her husband's form and leads her to believe that he's her one true love. When the hubby comes back to reclaim his place in her life, the young woman is bewildered and torn over whom to choose: the living or the dead?
