Pregnant and unwed, Arlene (Janice de Belen) ties the knot with a longtime suitor when the real father refuses to step up to the plate. But happily-ever-after isn't in the cards when Arlene discovers her new spouse to be abusive and obsessive. When she finally decides to leave the lout, she bumps into her old beau, who's a changed man after serving time. Now, he wants to give the relationship a go, but will Arlene's new ex let him?
