Panic in the Skies

A 747 is struck by lightning, killing the pilot and co-pilot and forcing flight attendant Laurie (Kate Jackson) and a daring passenger (Ed Marinaro) to take control of the plane. Though they manage to engage the autopilot, they know landing will be their most dangerous task. The blast also knocked out the radio, and air-traffic controllers on the ground must debate whether to shoot down the plane before it crashes into a populated area.
