Philip (Aaron Kwok) is a Shanghai dance instructor who's bored with his colorless life until he meets a vivacious runaway named Yee (Cecilia Cheung), who fled Japan to escape her impending arranged marriage. The more time Yee and Philip spend together, the more they hit it off. But when Yee decides to return to Japan and face the music -- and her angry husband-to-be -- Philip must find a way to stop her.
