Etienne (Jean Rochefort), a married, middle-aged Frenchman with a wandering eye, turns his life upside down when he begins to obsess over a complete stranger he sees on the street one day. His three loyal friends do their best to aid their hapless pal in his romantic pursuits -- despite his ridiculous behavior. Director Yves Robert's delightful romp into the perils of middle age earned the movie a Golden Globe nomination for Best Foreign Film.
