Parlour, Bedroom & Bath

Based on Charles William Bell's Broadway hit, this charming comedy stars Buster Keaton (in one of his few talkies) as dim-bulb ne'er-do-well Reginald Irving. He finds himself in over his head when stymied would-be groom Jeff Haywood (Reginald Denny) tries to pass Reggie off as a rich and eligible gent to woo the persnickety older sister of Jeff's fiancée. What ensues is a barrelful of laughs and confusion, culminating in a hilarious denouement.
