Parting Glances

Upwardly mobile Robert (John Bolger) accepts a long-term assignment in Africa that will inevitably strain his relationship with his lover, Michael (Richard Ganoung). Meanwhile, Michael tends the needs of his ex, Nick (Steve Buscemi), whose punk band is making it big as he battles HIV in his tiny apartment. As Robert and Michael enjoy one last party with their hipster friends, the film explores the tensions of early AIDS-era Manhattan.
