A double bill from Jean-Luc Godard exploring the nature of filmmaking showcases the influential French director's prodigious talents. In Passion, a Polish director (Jerzy Radziwilowicz) comes into conflict with his producers because the film he's shooting doesn't have a story, while in First Name: Carmen, Godard steps in front of the camera playing a director whose latest project is a front for a bank robbery plot.
