Based on the writings of novelist Georges Bataille, this erotic tale centers on the provocative love triangle between Simone (Laura Antonelli), Georges (Maurizio Degli Esposti) and the beautiful yet sheltered Marcelle de Paille (Margot Margaret). Confined to a near-hermetic existence by her overbearing father, Marcelle is liberated by her relationship with Simone and Georges and soon finds herself thrust into a sensual journey of self-discovery.
