National Book Award-winning writer Paul Monette lost two long-term partners to AIDS before succumbing to the disease himself in 1995. Through home movies, news footage and interviews, this moving documentary tells the story of Monette's life and highlights his work as a writer and impassioned AIDS activist. Director Monte Bramer's acclaimed film won the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award and was nominated for the festival's Grand Jury Prize.
