A potentially happy arranged marriage begins developing cracks in the foundation when newlyweds Hari (Jagapathi Babu) and Lakshmi (Priyamani) start listening to their friends instead of their own hearts when it comes to their relationship. Lakshmi's friend (Jhansi) urges her to resist her husband's orders, while Hari's friend (Krishna Bhagawan) tells him he should ignore his wife. But the young couple's grandparents seem to have the best advice.
