Excited to be on his own in Chicago, uptight Wisconsinite Larry (Mark Linn-Baker) ends up with a new roommate: his long-lost, ever-cheerful cousin Balki Bartokomous (Bronson Pinchot), an ex-sheepherder recently arrived from the Mediterranean island nation of Mypos. These perfect strangers prove to be a strangely perfect match in the first two seasons of this classic odd-couple sitcom, which began its eight-year run in 1986.
