Famous comedian Petey Wheatstraw (Rudy Ray Moore) is shot dead by envious rivals and makes a deal with the devil (G. Tito Shaw) in this blaxploitation comedy. Petey agrees to marry Lucifer's ugly daughter (Skillet Ebony Wright) and is sent back to Earth to fulfill his promise. Lucifer also gives Petey magic powers to help him get rid of the men who had him killed. But things heat up when Petey tries to back out of his deal with the devil.
