With an impossibly young Mia Farrow playing Alice, the virginal daughter of Constance MacKenzie (Dorothy Malone), and a dashing Ryan O'Neal stretching not at all to play her far-more-social on-again, off-again love, Rodney, the grand dame of soap operas rolls on. In the episodes collected here, Elliot Carson (Tim O'Connor) returns to Peyton Place after 18 years in prison, setting off a ripple effect that threatens to expose all kinds of secrets.
