Phantom from Space

After crash-landing on Earth, a mysterious alien (Dick Sands) accidentally kills two people and realizes he must flee. He is invisible, but the spacesuit he needs to wear so he can breathe is not, forcing him to make a dangerous choice. With the authorities closing in, the extraterrestrial peels off his suit and becomes impossible to see, but can he don his gear before succumbing to the toxic atmosphere? Ted Cooper and Tom Daly co-star.
