When Dattu (Srikanth) loses his wife in a car accident, his father-in-law, Kutumba (Srinivasa Rao Kota), decides to groom the grieving young man for a second marriage. But Dattu is reluctant, and Kutumba must concoct crazy schemes to find a suitable bride, including interviewing a flock of unsuspecting girls to serve as Dattu's assistant. Meanwhile, Kutumba's own assistant (M.S. Narayana) is on to the boss's scheme and tries to foil his plans.
