While flying a black plane with a large "X" on its wing, deranged WWI vet Carl Goering (Leon Ames) starts shooting down passenger planes. It's up to a team of renowned pilots to bring Pilot X to the ground. John Carroll, Lona Andre and Gaston Glass star in this gripping aerial thriller, which features exciting flight footage. The film is also known as The Mysterious Bombardier and Death in the Air.
