A homeless Chihuahua named Ping (voiced by Brian Donovan) proves his heart is bigger than a St. Bernard soon after he's adopted by Ethel Jeffries (Shirley Jones), the owner of a successful bakery chain, and her granddaughter, Haley (Brooke Winn). Despite Ping's pint-sized paws, he manages to outfox a pair of bumbling crooks (Judge Reinhold and Clint Howard) and convince Ethel and Haley he's an important member of the family.
