Pippi Longstocking

When her sea captain father gets tossed overboard during a storm, raucous redhead Pippi (voiced by Melissa Altro) returns to her village to set up house with her pet monkey and faithful steed. She soon crosses paths with nosy neighbor Mrs. Prysselius (voice of Catherine O'Hara) -- the town's self-styled moral arbiter -- and two crooks trying to snatch Pippi's gold. But the resourceful 9-year-old finds a way to foil her foes in this animated tale.
