In James Cameron's directorial debut, an idyllic Caribbean resort is terrorized by mutant, cannibalistic flying fish. When a Navy ship toting hordes of experimental piranha eggs sinks, it creates an underwater siege -- and soon, unsuspecting vacationers find themselves the main course for a school of deadly piranhas. Steve Kimbrough (Lance Henriksen), a local cop, and his estranged wife, Ann (Tricia O'Neil), rush to save the town.
