Salt Lake City teenager Kirk Redgrave (Kirby Heyborne) goes in search of a more daring identity and finds an exciting new life as Cap'n Kirk, a suburban pirate. But he also finds Flint Weaver (Trenton James), a devoted sidekick who sees piracy as his chance to impress a girl. While canvassing the Great Salt Lake in their rickety rowboat, the boys stumble upon an honest-to-goodness treasure map that points the way to a life-changing prize.
