From the moment they met as children, Danny Foster (Drew Johnson) and Melissa Curtis (Corinna Harney) knew they'd be lifelong friends, but their adult destinies lie along divergent paths. A wicked fastball and Major League dreams lead Danny toward America's pastime, while Melissa poses for Playboy in an effort to overcome youthful insecurities stemming from an abusive father (John Saxon).
