Sinbad's journey to becoming one of America's top comedians began in 1983, when he embarked on his "Poverty Tour," traveling from city to city and club to club on a Greyhound bus. Back then, he'd work for food. Several stints on "Star Search" followed, and doors started to open for the funnyman. It's been a long and winding road from rest stop bathrooms to highly touted HBO specials, but Sinbad's never been funnier than when he's working a crowd.
